Working with DJ James was simple and professional. He helped me with my mosh up for my son and mom dance which made the night perfect for me! He was responsive and better yet creative and patient! My husband also loved that he played a song for us, Bruno!! Thank you so much for making this night perfect for my son and his new wife - Charlie and Abby!!

James is the perfect wedding DJ. I swear I'm tempted to hire him just to DJ our house warming party coming up, he's that fun.
He's very personable, professional, and thoughtful. He really cares about the experience we get and about our wedding.
The one thing that stood out most to me was this:
As the groom I was giving my dinner speech. I mentioned to one of my groomsman a time in which he was playing a random tune on his guitar and I just started singing a song I felt fit the tune. It was a great moment and I told my groomsman I'll never forget it. As soon as I finished my speech James played the song. The one I had mentioned in my speech. I hadn't thought to tell him about it. I hadn't thought to ask. But he was listening and did the exact right thing in that moment because he cares.
That, I'll never forget.
So yeah, hire him. You won't find anyone else more willing to do anything to make your special day perfect.

Simply put, James was the best DJ we could have chosen!! From the start of our planning, he was eager, friendly and had excellent communication. We requested specific songs to be played during our dinner, instead of the traditional dinner music, and people raves about it!! He was spot-on with our wishes. At one point in the wedding, a guest pointed and asked, “Is that your DJ?”.. and sure enough, James was standing on a ledge, playing air guitar!! We had a blast.. thanks James!! :D

I hired James as a DJ and Emcee for my wedding after meeting him at a friend's wedding earlier this year. I had an excellent experience and I would *highly* recommend him to anyone who's looking for a DJ! He was very professional, friendly, and extremely easy to work with... I was so busy with other wedding details that it was a huge relief to tell him what I was looking for and then sit back and not worry about it (and when I did reach out to him he replied promptly and addressed all of my questions in detail).
And he did an amazing job! He kept the dance floor full the entire night (which surprised me because I thought my friends/family were not really the dancing type). He was able to keep the reception running smoothly despite a few hiccups with the food, and he played exactly the kind of music my husband and I love.
Overall I was so happy with my experience, and hiring DJUj was one of the best decisions of my entire wedding-planning process.

DJUj is absolutely incredible! James is so easy and fun to work with. He was a referral to my now husband and I and he did not disappoint. He accommodated to all our wants and needs and met up with us whenever we wanted to discuss details. We did not give him much direction but he knew exactly what we had in mind for our wedding. He totally nailed it! The music was perfect. He played all of our favorite songs and kept the dance floor packed all night long. He is very professional and is super nice to every guest he encounters. He took control of the wedding and everything went off without a hitch. The sound during our ceremony was perfect, transitioning to speeches was seamless, and the lights and energy was unreal. I can't say enough amazing things about DJUj. He definitely made our wedding memorable. We highly, highly recommend DJUj for any event!

To echo the universal consensus among these reviews: James was fantastic. Could not have been easier to work with, took our suggestions/preferences seriously, advised us whenever we needed it, and kept the place BUMPING. It's amazing that there are more expensive DJs out there, because I can't imagine what else you could ask for in a DJ. Two weeks later and we've already had a guest from our wedding ask for James's contact info for her niece's wedding.

James is the best DJ ever! I went to two of my friends weddings as him as their DJ and needed him to DJ my wedding! So much so that I picked my wedding date based on his availability. He is so great to work with; quick to respond, personable, reasonable and flexible. We had a last minute change with introduction order and songs and James was flexible and quickly fixed it. He was amazing! Definitely recommend.

I came across James at a wedding approximately 1 year before mine and was instantly sold on his talents. James was so easy to work with in the planning process and he would respond to emails in the most timely manner. The uplighting that he provides is an amazing touch and he lets the bride/groom pick the color. James was able to keep nearly the entire reception on the dance floor for 3.5+ hours! Even the grandparents that usually sit at weddings were busting moves! My wife and I only hand a handful of songs requested and we let James do the rest, and we are so glad we did. He mixes the perfect amount of music from oldies to hits of today and it works seamlessly. James is a top notch professional, he's courteous, kind, and he's a U.S. Veteran, so there's little to dislike about the man. I will 100% be referring James to all my friends and family from here on out. Thanks a million James.

James was an absolute joy to work with. He made the day of our wedding so enjoyable because I never had to worry about a single thing. He made sure we were on track with time during the reception and if we weren't, he was able to change things around like it was meant to be that way and didn't even break a sweat. We told him our taste in music and he pulled through with the best songs to keep everyone dancing! Will 10 out of 10 always recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

Uncle Jimmy throws one HELL of a party! While he was very organized, knowledgeable, professional, and responsive, what we liked the most about working with him was that on the day of our event, we didn't have to worry... didn't have to verify... didn't need to check in... we were free to have a great time and, as they say, leave it to the professionals. And when we did have last minute changes, Jimmy handled them with grace and made it seem like everything had been the plan all along.

If you are looking for a DJ, look no further. I know that the next time we are having an event, Jimmy will be our first and only phone call.
